Inspiring Athletes I Know
Training in Calgary, I have the opportunity to meet athletes from all different sports and often different countries. The countless hours spent at The Olympic Oval create a sort of brotherhood/sisterhood that breaks down the barriers there because our sports are vastly different. Different sports, same focus. It is an awesome environment of high-performance athletes. It’s a constant source of extrinsic motivation for me.
I’ve learned that many of these athletes are far more than just good at what they do. Most have a story to tell. Leading up to the Olympics in February, I thought it would be interesting to share some of their stories. I hope you find them as inspiring as I do.
